Burglary - Around 11:30pm on Saturday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Ballast Point Road, St. George’s residence. It appears that sometime between 10:30am and 11pm that day an unknown culprit gained entry into the home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a 42” Panasonic flat screen TV. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 3:40pm on Saturday, Police received a report of a burglary at Tree Tops 2 nursery school in Southampton. It appears that sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning an unknown culprit gained entry into the premises. The culprit stole a Toshiba DVD player which was still in its box. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 2:30pm on Friday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Riviera Crescent, Southampton residence. It appears that sometime between 7:30am and 2:25pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole electronic items including a 46” Samsung flat screen TV, a men’s watch and two bottles of alcohol. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 7:30am on Friday, Police received a report of a burglary at a St. George’s guest property. It appears that sometime between 10pm on Thursday and 4:30am on Friday, an unknown culprit gained entry into a guest room on the premises. The culprit stole a quantity of cash and personal items. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 7:20am on Friday, Police received a report of a burglary at Impact Mentoring Academy in Hamilton parish. It appears that sometime between 6pm on Thursday and Friday morning an unknown culprit gained entry into the premises. The culprit stole computer equipment and an X-Box 360 video game system. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Injury RTC

Around 11:05am on Friday, Police received a report of a road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of Middle Road and Longford Road in Warwick involving a car and a truck. It appears that the car was traveling along Longford Road and the truck was traveling along Middle Road when the vehicles collided. The driver of the car, a 26 year old St. George’s man, sustained a minor arm injury. The driver of the truck, a 33 year old Sandys parish man, was not injured. The car was extensively damaged while the truck received moderate damage.

The Bermuda Police Service continues to advise the public to remain vigilant regarding burglaries. All residents should make sure windows and doors are locked before leaving their homes unattended, even for short periods of time. The public is encouraged to report any suspicious activities or individuals in their neighbourhoods to Police on 295-0011.
