Injury RTC - At 4:35am on Sunday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on North Shore Road in Devonshire near Lookout Lane involving two cars. It appears that a car was traveling along North Shore Road when it collided with a parked car. The driver of the car, a 27 year old Pembroke man, sustained a minor arm injury. He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving; however he passed the alco-analyser test. The parked car was apparently unoccupied at the time. Both vehicles were extensively damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Burglary
At 10:05am on Friday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Victoria Street, Pembroke residence. It appears that sometime between 11pm on Thursday and 5:30am on Friday, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Advisory
The Bermuda Police Service continues to advise the public to remain vigilant regarding burglaries. All residents should make sure windows and doors are locked before leaving their homes unattended, even for short periods of time.
