Serious Injury RTC

Around 10:30pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a serious single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Southside Road in St. George's near the Southside Family Bowl. It appears that a motorcycle was traveling along Southside Road when the rider, a 22 year old St. George’s man, lost control and collided with a sidewalk and a tree. The St. George’s man was injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment where he is currently in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit. The motorcycle was extensively damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Any witnesses to this collision are asked to contact PC Eric Krueger on 295-0011.
