Theft - At 1:55pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a theft from Somersfield Academy in Devonshire. It appears that sometime between Friday, September 17th and Monday, September 20th an unknown culprit or culprits removed a golf cart from a shed on the property. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Police Week 2010
Police Week is fast approaching and the Bermuda Police Service would like to invite the community to take part in the following activities celebrating 131 years of policing in Bermuda:
- Saturday October 2nd - Police Gymkhana at Police Field (10am - 5pm).
Come & join us for a fun filled day of bicycle events at Police Field in Prospect! For more information about the Gymkhana, contact Sgt. Clifford Roberts by e-mail or on 717-0590. Young people of primary & middle school age are encouraged to bring their own pedal cycle (which should be in good working order) if they wish to participate. All riders must have helmets.
- Tuesday, October 5th – Police Displays at Police Field, Prospect, 11am start.
A must see! Everyone from school students to senior citizens is encouraged to experience dynamic and static displays by the Bermuda Police Service featuring a number of different Police units & departments. There will also be a demonstration by a Police Marching Unit!
