Burglary - Around 7am on Wednesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a York Street, St. George’s business. It appears that sometime overnight an unknown culprit gained entry into the store and removed a cash register containing a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Damage Only RTC
At 1:55pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on Knapton Hill in Smith’s parish near the junction with South Road. It appears that a car collided with a wall on Knapton Hill and as a result the vehicle received front end damage. Apparently the wall was also damaged; however the driver, a 74 year old Smith’s parish man, was not injured.
Injury RTC
Around 8:25am on Tuesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Loyal Hill Pass in Devonshire involving three vehicles. It appears that a car collided with a wall on Loyal Hill Pass and as a result two unattended parked vehicles in the area were also damaged. There was damage to the wall as well. The driver of the car, a 61 year old Devonshire woman and her passenger, a 61 year old Devonshire man, were taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of minor injuries and released.
