A few minutes before 3pm today, a 29 year old Pembroke man checked himself into the hospital with a gun shot wound to his body. The 29 year old man’s injuries appear to be non-life threatening. Police were alerted and were told the shooting took place in the St. Monica's Mission area. It was later established that the shooting took place on Crane Lane in Devonshire. Police are asking for anyone who may have seen anyone on a motorcycle or in a car acting suspiciously or anyone who may have heard or seen the shooting to contact the Serious Crime Unit on 295-0011 or the Crime Stoppers Bermuda hotline on 800-8477.
