Burglary - Around 12 noon on Saturday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Highwood Lane, Paget residence. It appears that sometime between 8am and 7pm on Friday, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Around 8:40pm on Friday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Fiddlewood Drive, Warwick residence. It appears that sometime between 8am and 4pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Weekend Activity
Over the weekend there were 4 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and 7 reported burglaries. There were also 5 reported damage only road traffic collisions, 9 reported road traffic collisions resulting in injury and 12 vehicles reported taken without their owners’ consent.

The Bermuda Police Service will be holding a press conference today at 1:30pm at The Spinning Wheel nightclub on Court Street in Pembroke regarding the fatal shooting of a 47 year old Pembroke man. In attendance will be Assistant Commissioner of Police David Mirfield. All media are encouraged to attend.
