Injury RTC/Impaired Driving - Around 8pm on Saturday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Harrington Sound Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with Quarry Road involving a truck and a motorcycle. It appears that the truck was traveling west on Harrington Sound Road and the motorcycle was traveling in the opposite direction when the vehicles collided. The motorcycle rider, a 38 year old Hamilton parish man, sustained a broken right leg. He was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment and subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. The truck driver, a 42 year old Pembroke man, was not injured. The motorcycle received extensive front end damage while the truck received moderate front end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Around 9:20am on Saturday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of Middle Road and Camp Hill in Warwick involving a taxi and a motorcycle. It appears that the taxi was exiting the parking lot of Island Cuisine and the motorcycle was traveling east on Middle Road when the vehicles collided. The motorcycle rider, a 24 year old Sandys parish man, sustained abrasions to his face and both legs. The taxi driver, a 59 year old Southampton man, was not injured. Both vehicles received extensive front end damage.
Around 2pm on Friday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Ord Road in Warwick near the Ord Road Laundry involving a car and a motorcycle. It appears that the car was traveling west on Ord Road and the motorcycle was traveling in the opposite direction when the vehicles collided. The motorcycle rider, a 34 year old Warwick man, sustained facial injuries. He was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. The driver of the car, a 23 year old Devonshire man, was not injured. Both vehicles received extensive front end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
