Update: Damage Only RTC - At 9:55am on Wednesday, Police received a report of a damage only road traffic collision at the junction of North Shore Road and My Lord’s Bay Lane in Hamilton parish involving a truck and a car. It appears that the car was traveling west along North Shore Road when the truck exited My Lord’s Bay Lane on to North Shore Road heading in the opposite direction and the vehicles collided. As a result the car received extensive front end damage while the truck received moderate front end damage. The driver of the car, a 19 year old Pembroke man and the driver of the truck, a 50 year old Smith’s parish man, were not injured. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

Around 11pm on Wednesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Cashew City Road, St. George’s residence. It appears that sometime between 11:10am and 11pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Advisory

The Bermuda Police Service continues to advise the public to remain vigilant regarding burglaries. All residents should make sure windows and doors are locked before leaving their homes unattended, even for short periods of time. The public is encouraged to report any suspicious activities or individuals in their neighbourhoods to Police on 295-0011.
