Update - Suspicious Circumstances at Penno’s Wharf St. George’s

The Bermuda Police Service took the report of a suspected firearm very seriously and mounted an immediate and significant response involving officers from multiple departments including the Serious Crime Unit, Armed Response Vehicles and the Marine Unit. Extensive enquiries were made and the Bermuda Police Service is satisfied that the presence of a weapon could not be verified. The Bermuda Police Service appreciates the cooperation of all those who were inconvenienced as a result of the operation.
