Vehicle Fire - Around 6:15pm on Thursday, Police received a report of a vehicle fire. The Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service also attended the scene. It appears that a car parked outside a Rosemont Avenue, Pembroke residence caught fire sometime after 5pm that day. Fire & Rescue Service personnel subsequently extinguished the blaze. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
Damage Only RTC
Around 5:10pm on Thursday, Police received a report of a damage only road traffic collision at the junction of North Shore Road and Tribe Lane in Devonshire involving a car and a motorcycle. It appears that both vehicles were traveling east on North Shore Road with the car in front of the motorcycle. As the car attempted to turn on to Tribe Lane, the two vehicles collided. The driver of the car, a 43 year old Pembroke woman and the rider of the motorcycle, a 35 year old Hamilton parish man, were not injured. The car received moderate front end damage while the motorcycle received extensive front end damage.
