Confirmed Firearm Incident in Sandys Parish

At 9:40pm today, Police responded to reports of gun shots being fired in the area of White Hill and George's Bay Road in Sandys parish. Police canvassed the area and ascertained that it was indeed a confirmed firearm incident. At this juncture we can report that no one has been shot, after canvassing the area and checking with the hospital. There is a strong Police presence in the area and an investigation into this incident is underway. Police are appealing for anyone that may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the White Hill/George's Bay Road, Sandys parish area to call the main Police number 295-0011 or the independent confidential Crime Stoppers Bermuda hotline on 800-8477.
