Injury RTC - At 4:45pm on Saturday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Reid Street in the City of Hamilton. It appears that a car was traveling west on Reid Street when the driver, a 61 year old Pembroke woman, lost control and collided with a parked car. The parked car then collided with a tree. The Pembroke woman sustained injuries to her right hand as a result and her car received extensive front end damage. The parked car, unoccupied at the time, was extensively damaged.

Damage Only RTC/Impaired Driving

Around 2:15am on Saturday, Police attended a reported damage only road traffic collision on Crow Lane in Pembroke near the junction with Lane Hill. It appears that a car was traveling west on Crow Lane when the driver, a 21 year old Pembroke man, lost control and collided with a parked car. The Pembroke man stopped briefly before driving away. Officers pursued the car and subsequently located it on White Sands Road in Paget. The driver was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and detained after failing the alco-analyser test. He was not injured. The westbound car received extensive front end damage while the unoccupied parked car received extensive rear end damage.
