Disturbance - Around 2:30am on Saturday, Police received a report of a disturbance at The Bistro at The Beach on Front Street in the City of Hamilton. It appears that as several male patrons were leaving the premises, a physical altercation took place between some of them. Officers attended the area and used the deterrent spray ‘Captor’ in an attempt to subdue those involved; however, the men quickly left the scene. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident or anyone with any information to contact the Hamilton Criminal Investigation Unit on 295-0011.
Assault
At 3am on Saturday, Police were at KEMH when a 20 year old Warwick man was brought into the hospital with a stab wound. The individuals who conveyed the victim to the hospital declined to give details of what happened to him and promptly left. Similarly the victim was not forthcoming with any information about how he was injured. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with any information about this assault to contact 295-0011.

Weekend Activity
Over the weekend there were 4 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and 4 reported burglaries. There were also 12 reported damage only road traffic collisions, 5 reported road traffic collisions resulting in injury and 2 vehicles reported taken without their owners’ consent.
