Burglary - Around 7pm on Wednesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a White Sands Road, Paget residence. The complainants stated that sometime between 8am and 6:55pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

The complainant stated that sometime between 9:20am and 3:45pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash and personal items. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Advisory
The Bermuda Police Service continues to advise the public to remain vigilant regarding burglaries. We are reminding all residents to keep their valuables locked away & out of sight, ideally in a safe. In addition, the serial numbers of all ‘big ticket’ items (such as jewelry & electronics) should be written down and secured in a safe or separate secure location; in the event any of these items are stolen and later recovered, the information can be used to identify them.
Finally, residents should make sure all windows and doors are locked before leaving their homes unattended, even for short periods of time. For more information on how to better secure your home, contact the Crime Prevention Unit on 299-4246.
In addition, the public is encouraged to report any suspicious activities or individuals in their neighbourhoods to Police on 295-0011.
Update – Injury RTC
At 3:50pm on Monday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of Middle Road and Cobbs Hill Road in Paget involving three SUVs. The driver of one of the SUVs was traveling south on Cobbs Hill Road, another was traveling west on Middle Road while the third was traveling in the opposite direction on Middle Road . The driver of the SUV traveling along Cobbs Hill Road lost control and entered Middle Road; as a result all three vehicles collided. The driver of the westbound vehicle on Middle Road, a 47 year old Paget woman, sustained a suspected neck injury while the driver of the eastbound vehicle on Middle Road, a 54 year old Sandys parish woman, sustained a suspected neck injury and an injury to her right arm. Both drivers were taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment of their injuries. The driver of the vehicle traveling south on Cobbs Hill Road, a 24 year old Warwick woman, was not injured. The three SUVs all sustained moderate damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
