Town Hall Meeting for the Western Parishes - A town hall meeting for western parish residents will take place at Port Royal Primary School on Thursday, April 15th starting at 7pm.
Residents of Warwick, Southampton & Sandys parish are invited to attend this forum to discuss the state of affairs in the area for the past six months and to hear the attending Police officers present the policing initiatives for the next six months. Representing the Bermuda Police Service at Thursday’s meeting will be Western Area Commander Chief Inspector Tyrone Smith & officers from the Western Community Action Team.
The purpose of these town hall meetings is to allow public feedback and discussion by residents of policing initiatives while emphasizing Police working in partnership with the community.
As outlined in the Bermuda Police Service Policing Plan 2010, citizen focus is high on our agenda. The basis of citizen focus is to obtain a clear understanding of what members of the public want; what matters the most and what is important to individual neighbourhoods and communities.
We look forward to seeing as many western parish residents as possible in attendance!
