Marine Advisory
The Bermuda Police Service Marine Unit would like to remind the public as of April 1st all boats (including jet skis, punts and kayaks) should be re-registered with the Department of Marine and Port Services and the blue 2010 registration decals once issued should be displayed on the starboard (right) side of the vessel as close as possible to the registration numbers. Moorings also need to be re-registered and the blue 2010 mooring decals should also be fitted to the mooring buoy.
Marine Unit officers will be enforcing this regulation and any person who is found using a vessel or mooring without displaying a current 2010 registration decal runs the risk of prosecution.
