Injury RTC - Around 2:15pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Knapton Hill in Smith’s parish. It appears that a car was traveling west on Knapton Hill when the driver, a 70 year old Paget man, lost control. As a result the vehicle mounted an embankment and overturned, blocking both lanes of traffic. The Paget man sustained a laceration to his head & left elbow. He was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment and later released. The car was extensively damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Damage Only RTC
Around 12:55pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on St. David’s Road in St. George’s. It appears that a car was traveling along St. David’s Road when the driver, a 23 year old St. George’s man, lost control. As a result the car collided with a utility pole. The driver was not injured; however the car received extensive front end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Burglary
Around 4:20pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Second Avenue, Devonshire residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 7:10am and 4:15pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a black Toshiba laptop computer, a PlayStation 3 video game system and a men’s watch. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

The complainants stated that sometime between 9:15am and 1pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of loose change.
