Injury RTC - Around 9:40pm on Sunday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Old Military Road in St. George’s involving a car and an auxiliary cycle. It appears that the auxiliary cycle was traveling north on Old Military Road and the car was traveling in the opposite direction when the vehicles collided. The rider of the auxiliary cycle, a 63 year old St. George’s woman, sustained facial injuries and a knee injury. She was treated by EMTs at the scene before being taken to KEMH via ambulance for further medical assistance. The driver of the car, a 42 year old St. George’s man, was not injured. The car received front end damage while the auxiliary cycle was extensively damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

Around 5:30pm on Friday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Barrack Hill, St. George’s residence. It appears that sometime between 8:25am and 5:20pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a 37” Toshiba flat screen TV. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 1:15pm on Friday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Texas Road, St. George’s residence. It appears that sometime between 7:45am and 1pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole an Apple laptop computer as well as a quantity of cash and jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Missing Juvenile – Located

The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating 15 year old Rechai Reeve Young. He has been accounted for.

Weekend Activity

Over the weekend there were 3 people arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and 5 reported burglaries. There were also 19 reported damage only road traffic collisions, 9 reported road traffic collisions resulting in injury and 3 vehicles reported taken without their owners’ consent.
