Injury RTC - Around 7:30am today, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Middle Road in Warwick near the Warwick Post Office involving an auxiliary cycle and a pedestrian. It appears that the pedestrian, a 10 year old Warwick boy, was walking across the pedestrian crossing after traffic had stopped to allow him to cross. However, the auxiliary cycle was traveling east on Middle Road and collided with the boy. The rider of the auxiliary cycle, a 17 year old young man from Sandys parish, sustained facial injuries. The pedestrian’s injuries are unknown at this time. Both injured parties were taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Burglary
Around 5:40pm on Wednesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Valley View Lane, Smith’s parish residence. The complainants stated that sometime between 6:55am and 5:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a black HP laptop computer as well as a quantity of jewelry, electronic items and personal items. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

The complainant stated that sometime between 2:20pm and 4:15pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a 42” Westinghouse flat screen TV, a Mac Book Pro laptop computer, a Rolex watch and a pink I-Pod Nano. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

The complainant stated that sometime between 11:05am and 11:45am that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a black 30” flat screen TV, a Nintendo Wii video game system, a BlackBerry cellular phone, a black I-Pod Touch and a quantity of jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
