Damage Only RTC/Impaired Driving - At 11:05pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported damage only road traffic collision on Harbour Road in Paget, near the junction with Manse Road involving four vehicles. It appears that a car was traveling west on Harbour Road when the driver, a 30 year old Devonshire man, lost control. As a result the car collided with a parked car, a parked motorcycle and a parked van as well as the wall of a Harbour Road residence. The westbound car was extensively damaged; however the driver was not injured. The Devonshire man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. All of the parked vehicles were extensively damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Burglary
Around 6:20pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Verdmont Valley Close, Smith’s parish residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 8:45am and 4:10pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her apartment while it was unoccupied; however it appears that nothing was taken. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
At 6:05pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Verdmont Valley Close, Smith’s parish residence. The complainant stated that sometime during the day, an unknown culprit gained entry into the home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a black Dell laptop computer, a brand new white Apple I-Phone (still in the box) as well as a quantity of jewelry and personal items. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Around 5:50pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Burnt House Hill, Warwick residence. The complainants stated that sometime between 2:30pm and 5:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a 19” flat screen TV. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Around 5:15pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Paddock Drive, Warwick residence. The complainants stated that sometime between 12:30pm and 4pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a bottle of alcohol. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Around 12 noon on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Dunscombe Road, Warwick residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 10:55am and 11:40am that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a 22” Samsung flat screen TV and a quantity of jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
