Injury RTC - Around 8:45am on Thursday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Middle Road in Warwick near the junction with Khyber Pass involving an auxiliary cycle and a pedestrian. It appears that the pedestrian, a 30 year old Warwick woman, was walking across the pedestrian crossing on Middle Road and the auxiliary cycle was traveling east on Middle Road when the collision occurred. The pedestrian sustained facial injuries as well as injuries to her left wrist and right knee. The auxiliary cycle rider, a 17 year old Hamilton parish woman, sustained lacerations to her right arm & leg. The auxiliary cycle received minor damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Burglary

Around 2:35pm on Thursday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Boundary Terrace, Devonshire residence. The complainants stated that sometime between 9:45am and 2:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Advisory

The Bermuda Police Service continues to advise the public to remain vigilant regarding burglaries. All residents should make sure windows and doors are locked before leaving their homes unattended, even for short periods of time. The public is encouraged to report any suspicious activities or individuals in their neighbourhoods to Police on 295-0011.

Missing Juvenile Troylene Anderson - Found

The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating 17 year old Troylene Anderson. The teenager returned unharmed to her accommodation of her own accord yesterday afternoon (Thursday, February 18th).
