Injury RTC/Impaired Driving - At 1:55am today, Police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Knapton Hill in Smith’s parish near the junction with Harrington Hundreds Road. It appears that a car was traveling north on Knapton Hill when the driver, a 24 year old Smith’s parish woman, lost control and collided with a wall. The Smith’s parish woman was apparently injured; however the extent of her injuries is not clear. She was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and detained after failing the alco-analyser test. The car received extensive damage to its right side. The wall was also damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Burglary
Around 4:45pm on Wednesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Mary Victoria Road, Devonshire residence. The complainant stated that she returned home to find an unknown individual inside her house. The intruder made good their escape on foot empty handed after being disturbed by the complainant and is described as approximately 5’1” tall wearing a black hooded jacket and dark coloured pants. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

The Bermuda Police Service continues to advise the public to remain vigilant regarding burglaries. All residents should make sure windows and doors are locked before leaving their homes unattended, even for short periods of time. The public is encouraged to report any suspicious activities or individuals in their neighbourhoods to Police on 295-0011.
Missing Juvenile – Troylene Anderson
The Bermuda Police Service continues to appeal for the public’s assistance in locating 17 year old Troylene Anderson. The teenager was last seen on Tuesday, January 26th 2010. She is described as 5’5” tall weighing approximately 186 pounds with short curly reddish brown hair and is known to frequent the St. Monica’s Road, Pembroke area. Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of 17 year old Troylene Anderson is encouraged to contact the Vulnerable Persons Unit on 295-0011.
