Burglary - At 2:50pm today, Police received a report of a burglary at a Lovers Lane, Paget residence. The complainant stated that sometime between Thursday, January 14th and 2:30pm Wednesday, January 20th an unknown culprit gained entry into a pool house on the property. The culprit stole a flat screen TV. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Around 1:20am today, Police received a report of a burglary at a Commonland Point Road, Hamilton parish residence. The complainant stated that she awoke to find an unknown man in her home. She confronted the intruder who ran out of the house, with the Hamilton parish resident in pursuit. A brief struggle took place outside between the suspect and the female complainant, before the offender made good his escape, apparently empty handed. The Hamilton parish resident sustained an abrasion to her right elbow and cuts to her toes as well as bruising to her body. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’9” tall wearing a blue hooded sweat top and black pants. In addition, the suspect left the scene on a white or silver step through type motorcycle. Police are appealing for any witnesses, particularly anyone who saw a man riding a white or silver coloured motorcycle in the area of Shelly Bay around the time of this incident, to contact the St. George’s Criminal Investigation Unit on 293-2222.
