Damage Only RTC - At 1:55am today, Police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on Longford Road in Warwick near the junction with Middle Road. It appears that a green jeep was traveling north on Longford Road when the driver lost control and collided with a wall, causing the vehicle to overturn. The damaged vehicle was unoccupied when Police arrived at the scene. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Injury RTC/Impaired Driving

At 6pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Marsh Folly Road in Pembroke near the junction with St. Monica’s Road involving three vehicles. It appears that two cars were traveling east on Marsh Folly Road and a light truck was traveling in the opposite direction when the vehicles collided. The driver of the light truck, a 58 year old Pembroke man, sustained an injury to his nose. He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. The drivers of the two cars, a 37 year old Warwick woman and a 52 year old Pembroke man respectively, were not injured. The light truck received front end damage while the two cars received moderate damage to multiple areas and extensive front end damage respectively. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
