Damage Only RTC - Around 8:10pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on Happy Valley Road in Pembroke. It appears that a car was traveling east on Happy Valley Road when the driver, a 56 year old Pembroke man, lost control and collided with the fence of Pitt & Company. The Pembroke man was not injured; however the car received extensive front end damage. The fence was also damaged.

Around 3:20pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported damage only road traffic collision at the junction of Marsh Folly Road and Cedar Avenue/St. John’s Road in Pembroke. It appears that a van was traveling west on Marsh Folly Road and a SUV was traveling north on Cedar Avenue/ St. John’s Road when the vehicles collided. The drivers of the vehicles, a 30 year old Devonshire man and a 48 year old Hamilton parish man respectively, were not injured. The van received moderate front and rear end damage while the SUV received extensive front end damage.

Injury RTC

Around 12:45pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on North Shore Road in Devonshire near Dock Hill. It appears that a car and a motorcycle were both traveling east on North Shore Road with the car in front of the motorcycle. The vehicles collided as the car attempted to turn into the Empire Grocery store parking lot. The rider of the motorcycle, a 19 year old Pembroke man, reportedly sustained a broken left knee and was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. The driver of the car, a 53 year old St. George’s man, was not injured. The car received extensive damage to the driver’s side door while the motorcycle received damage to multiple areas.
