Injury RTC - At 3:45am today, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on South Road in Paget near Bermuda College involving a car and a motorcycle. It appears that the motorcycle was traveling west on South Road and the car was traveling in the opposite direction when the vehicles collided. The rider of the motorcycle, a 24 year old Hamilton parish man, reportedly sustained a broken ankle and a dislocated hip. He was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. The driver of the car, a 31 year old Hamilton parish man, was not injured. The motorcycle was extensively damaged while the car received extensive front end damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

Theft

Around 8:30am on Wednesday, Police received a report of a theft from a West Park Lane, Pembroke residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 1am and 3am that day, an unknown culprit or culprits entered a shed on the property and stole two motocross cycles. The off-road motorcycles are described as a blue Yamaha 250F and a lime green Kawasaki 250F. Both have the number 91 featured prominently on them. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Police are appealing for anyone with any information on the whereabouts of these off-road motorcycles to contact the Hamilton Criminal Investigation Unit on 295-0011.
