Robbery - Around 8pm on Wednesday, Police received a report of a robbery at the Crawl Hill Esso service station. It appears that the victim, a 16 year old young man from Hamilton parish, was approached by two unknown young men earlier at the bus terminal in the City of Hamilton. The young men attempted to befriend him and asked to listen to his I-Pod. The Hamilton parish teenager allowed the unknown young men to do so before getting on a St. George’s bound bus, which the two unknown young men also boarded. When the 16 year old exited the bus on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish, the two unknown young men followed him into the Crawl Hill Esso service station. Once inside, one of the unknown young men brandished a bladed article and demanded the teenager’s I-Pod. The offenders then left the service station with the victim’s black Apple I-Pod Touch and bus pass. The suspects, a 22 year old Pembroke man and a 20 year old Pembroke man, were subsequently located by Police on Workmen’s Lane and arrested in connection with this incident. The Hamilton parish teenager was not injured and his property was recovered. Inquiries are ongoing.
