Injury RTC - Around 12:30pm on Wednesday, Police received a report of a single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury in the vicinity of Henry VIII Restaurant in Southampton. It appears that a car was driving through the restaurant’s car park when the driver, a 69 year old Devonshire man, lost control and collided with a wall. The Devonshire man sustained a head injury and was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. The front seat passenger, an 83 year old Maine woman sustained a broken thumb, cuts and abrasions. She was also taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. The car was extensively damaged. The wall apparently received minor damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Burglary
At 6:25pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Tamarind Vale, Warwick residence. The complainants stated that sometime during the day an unknown culprit gained entry into their home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a Sony PlayStation 3 video game system, 8 PlayStation games and a quantity of cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Around 10:20am on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Knapton Crescent, Smith’s parish residence. The complainants stated that sometime between 10pm on Monday and 7am on Tuesday, an unknown culprit gained entry into their home and car. The culprit stole a quantity of cash from the house and the faceplate from the car radio. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
