Injury RTC - Around 8:10am today, Police received a report of a road traffic collision resulting in injury on Middle Road in Southampton near Five Star Island involving a tractor and a bus. It appears that both vehicles were traveling east on Middle Road when they collided. As a result the tractor collided with a nearby private residence. The driver of the tractor, a 75 year old Sandys parish man, sustained abrasions to his left hand, right knee and complained of soreness to his back. The driver of the bus, a 54 year old St. George’s man, was not injured. There were no passengers on the bus at the time. The home, bus & tractor were all damaged; though the extent is not clear at this time. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Burglary
At 9:45pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at an Alexandra Road, Devonshire residence. The complainant stated that sometime between Wednesday, October 28th and Monday, November 2nd an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while she was overseas. The culprit stole a grey BlackBerry Pearl cellular phone and a quantity of jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Around 6:30pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Barrack Hill, St. George’s residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 8:10am and 6pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of video games, cash and jewelry. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Around 12:20pm on Tuesday, Police received a report of a burglary at a Town Hill Road, Smith’s parish residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 7:50am and 11:50am that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into her home while it was unoccupied. The culprit stole a quantity of cash and a brown Louis Vuitton purse. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
