Sudden Death

The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 53 year old Michael Eugene Smith of Pembroke. Mr. Smith was found in an unresponsive state at 6 this morning at a Hill Crescent, Pembroke residence and was pronounced dead a short time later. He was last seen alive at 1pm on Tuesday, December 20, 2005. Police are appealing for anyone who may have information on Mr. Smith's whereabouts since 1pm on Tuesday to contact Acting Detective Chief Inspector Peter Giles at the Serious Crime Unit on 299-4315 or 295-0011. The Bermuda Police Service extends its sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
