Shortly after 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, 26th April 2025, police and other first responders were dispatched to a report of a two-vehicle collision on Somerset Road in Sandys Parish, just outside of the Willowbank Resort.

Early information suggests that a motorcar, occupied by a female driver and a male passenger, both believed to be seniors, was traveling in a westerly direction when the driver lost control, crossing into the path of a motorcyclist before colliding with a wall in the opposing lane.

Both occupants of the motorcar were transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment of their injuries. The extent of their injuries is not known at this time. The female motorcyclist was not reported to be injured.

Traffic is currently being diverted through a single-lane system while the scene is being processed.
