Two Motorcycles Collide in Smith’s Parish

Around midnight on Friday, September 12th first responders were dispatched to a reported two vehicle collision at the junction of Knapton Hill and Harrington Sound Road in Smith’s parish.

It appears that a motorcycle was being ridden along Knapton Hill and another motorcycle was being ridden along Harrington Sound Road when the vehicles collided at the junction.

Both riders, a 22 year old St. George’s man and a 27 year old Smith’s parish woman, were injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Motorcyclist Injured in Sandys Parish

Around 9:50pm on Thursday, September 11th first responders were dispatched to a reported single vehicle motorcycle collision at the junction of Middle Road and Woodlawn Road in Sandys parish.

Details regarding this incident are unclear; however the injured motorcyclist, a 39 year old Pembroke man, was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Pedestrian Injured in Pembroke Collision

Around 2pm on Thursday, September 11th first responders attended a reported collision on Pitts Bay Road in Pembroke near the junction with Woodbourne Avenue.

It appears that a 37 year old Devonshire woman was walking across the pedestrian crossing when a car stopped to allow her passage.  It was at this point the car was rear-ended by a van, pushing the car into the pedestrian. The Devonshire woman was taken to the hospital for treatment of a shoulder injury.
