Reported Disturbance in Pembroke

A few minutes before 2:30pm police responded to a report of an incident that took place in the Marsh Folly Road, Palmetto Road Pembroke area.
Details surrounding the incident are still sketchy but it appears that four males brandishing a bladed article and a piece of wood attacked a male employee of Works and Engineering who was working on location.
The male victim defended himself resulting in one of the four attackers receiving serious head injuries. The other three fled the scene before police arrived at the scene.
The injured male was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.

Arrest Made in Connection With Stabbing Outside Woody’s
A 22 year old Sandys parish man has been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a 19 year old Sandys parish man that occurred outside Woody’s Sports Bar in Sandys parish around 6pm Saturday, May 2nd.
The 22 year old male is in police custody at this time pending further inquiries.
