Confirmed Firearm Incident in Smith’s Parish - Around 12:50am on Monday, November 26th police officers responded to reports of gun shots being fired in the Club Road, Smith’s parish area.
While it was forensically confirmed that a firearm was discharged in that area, there were no reported injuries. The scene was secured and an active investigation has commenced into this confirmed firearm incident.

Collision in Devonshire
Around 7:30pm on Sunday, November 25th police and first responders attended a reported collision at the junction of Middle Road and Tee Street in Devonshire involving a car and an auxiliary cycle. It appears that the car was being driven along Middle Road and the auxiliary cycle was being ridden along Tee Street when the vehicles collided at the junction.
The auxiliary cycle rider, a 17 year old St. George’s woman, was injured and conveyed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. Both vehicles were damaged as a result of the collision. There were no other injuries reported. Inquiries into this collision are ongoing.
Damage Only Collision in Warwick
Around 3:50am on Sunday, November 25th police officers responded to a report of a single vehicle damage only collision in the area of Burnt House Hill and Middle Road in Warwick. It appears that a car was being driven along Burnt House Hill when it collided with a wall. The vehicle received extensive frontal damage; however there were no reported injuries. Inquiries into this collision are ongoing.
Weekend Police Activity
Over the weekend, police officers arrested 12 people for outstanding warrants. Officers also arrested two people on suspicion of impaired driving and conducted liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.
