Marine Police Unit Move - The Bermuda Police Service advises that the Marine Police Unit is no longer located at the Barr’s Bay office.

The Marine Unit is now temporarily located at the Police COMOPS Building in Prospect, Devonshire before they make their permanent move to new offices in Dockyard expected to be 1st August, 2013.

Marine Police launches will continue to operate from Barr’s Bay. There will be no disruption to calls for services or general police patrols of the waterways in and around Bermuda as a result of the office move. Any Marine Unit inquiries can continue to be made by calling telephone number 247-1770.

Traffic Advisory

The motoring public is advised that the Bermuda Regiment will be holding a rehearsal for the Queen’s Birthday Parade on Sunday, June 2nd. The following traffic restrictions will be in place between 7am and 11am that day in the City of Hamilton.

Road Closures:

• Front Street between Court Street and Bermudiana Road.
• Burnaby Street between Front Street and Reid Street.
• Point Pleasant Road (Albuoy’s Point).

No Parking of Vehicles:

• Front Street between Court Street and Bermudiana Road.
• Burnaby Street between Front Street and Reid Street.
