Firearms Search Warrant Executed in Friswells Hill, Pembroke Area

On Saturday, July 1st armed police officers executed a search warrant under the Firearms Act in the Friswells Hill, Pembroke area where a teenaged male was arrested without incident in connection with an ongoing police investigation.

The Bermuda Police Service would like to thank area residents for their cooperation while officers carried out the operation and encourage anyone with information regarding the location of illegal firearms to contact the Serious Crime Unit on 247-1739 or the independent and anonymous Crime Stoppers hotline 800-8477.

Condition Update: Reported Two Vehicle Collision in Devonshire

At last check the 52 year old male motorcyclist believed to be from Devonshire injured around 11pm Saturday, July 1st in a collision with a car at the junction of Watlington Road East and Brighton Hill Road, Devonshire was recovering in stable condition on a general ward at the hospital.
