Confirmed Firearm Incident in Devonshire: No Reported Injuries

Around 12am on Monday, July 14th police officers responded to reported gunshots in the North Shore Road, Devonshire area.
Forensic evidence collected from the scene confirmed that a firearm was discharged in the vicinity of the Mid-Atlantic Boat Club; however there were no reported injuries.
An active investigation into this confirmed firearm incident is ongoing and police are appealing for witnesses or anyone that may have seen suspicious persons or vehicles in the North Shore Road, Devonshire area near the Mid-Atlantic Boat Club around midnight Monday to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011 or the confidential Crime Stoppers hotline 800-8477.
Weekend Police Activity
Over the weekend police officers arrested one person on suspicion of impaired driving as the Selective Traffic Enforcement Programme (STEP) continues.
Officers also arrested 16 people for outstanding warrants and conducted liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.
