Man Driving Whilst Impaired - Police were on mobile patrol on Harrington Sound Road and Sommersall Road in Smith's parish at 6:34pm on Wednesday when they came across a male rider on an auxiliary cycle. Police pulled the cyclist over, as officers had reason to believe that he was driving whilst impaired. The man was arrested and taken to Southside Police Station where he was given the Alco-analyzer; he subsequently failed the test. He was processed and detained.

Burglary

Police are reporting a breaking and entering that took place yesterday at a residence on Glebe Road in Pembroke. The complainant states that he left his home secured in the morning only to return in the evening to find out that a thief gained entry into his home and stole a grey Mac Book and purple case and a Coach laptop. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing.
