Around 6pm on Sunday, March 15th first responders were dispatched to a reported collision on Berkeley Road in Pembroke near the junction with St. John’s Road, involving a car and a pedal cycle.

The injured pedal cyclist, a 7 year old Pembroke boy, was treated at the scene by Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service personnel before being taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for further medical assessment. He was later discharged.

There were no other injuries reported; however apparently both vehicles were damaged.

Inquiries regarding this collision are ongoing and any witnesses should contact Constable Kalvilicia Joell at the Hamilton Police Station on telephone number 247-1704.
