The Bermuda Police Service is continuing to appeal for witnesses to the fatal road traffic collision on North Shore Road in Devonshire near the junction with Barkers Hill that occurred around 10:30pm Friday, February 2, 2007 and claimed the life of 41 year old Alan Oliver of Hamilton parish. We are especially interested in speaking with anyone who may have been in the area around the time of the collision. Around 10:30pm on Friday, Police attended a reported serious single vehicle road traffic collision on North Shore Road in Devonshire, approximately 100 metres east of Barkers Hill. It appears that a 41 year old Hamilton parish man was traveling east on North Shore Road when he lost control of his motorcycle and collided with a pole on the near side of the road. This resulted in the Hamilton parish man being rushed to KEMH where he was later pronounced dead by an on call physician at 10:55pm. No further information will be given until the next of kin has been notified.
