Around 3:30pm on Saturday 28th January, 2023, police and other first responders were dispatched to a collision along South Road, near to the junction with Kent Avenue, Devonshire, involving two motorcycles.

Details surrounding the collision are limited, however it is believed that three people were involved. Two adults have been taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, for treatment of their injuries, which were described as potentially serious. An eight year old child was also reported to be injured in the collision, but believed to have suffered a minor injury.

Traffic diversions are in place at Brighton Hill, Middle Road/Tee Street and Berry Hill/Tee Street, while accident investigators process the scene.
