Teen Male Stabbed in Smith's Parish: Injuries Not Thought Life-Threatening

Around 7:20 p.m. on Monday 4th July, 2022, police received a report of a stabbing incident outside D and C Grill, on Harrington Sound Road, Smith’s Parish.

Upon arrival officers found a seventeen-year-old male who was reportedly involved in an altercation with another male.

The seventeen year old is said to have sustained non-life threatening stab wounds during the incident.

He was attended to at the scene by EMTs and transported by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment to his injuries.

The suspect is described as a light brown complexioned male, approximately 5’ 7” in height and of average build.

He wore a black bubble jacket, black long pants and a black helmet.

He made good his escape by running in a westerly direction along Harrington Sound Road and it is believed he may have left the area on a motorcycle which was parked nearby.

The roadway was closed off while the scene was forensically processed with traffic diverted along South Road.
