Serious Collision in St. George’s: Rider Sustains Life Threatening Injuries [Updated]

Around 2:45pm, Sunday 22nd May, police and other first responders were dispatched to a report of a serious collision along Cut Road near the junction with Floral Lane, St. George’s.

Preliminary information suggest a man on a motorcycle was traveling east on Cut Road when the rider lost control of his vehicle and struck a wall and a parked motorcar.

Life saving efforts were commenced at the scene and the man was transported to King Edward Memorial Hospital, for what has been described as life threatening injuries.

Traffic was diverted through Floral Lane while investigators processed the scene. The road has now reopened.

Anyone with information regarding this collision is asked to call 211.
