Sadly, the Bermuda Police Service (BPS) can now confirm the death of the 23-year-old male motorcyclist seriously injured in a collision with a car that occurred at the entrance of RUBiS Terceira’s North Shore service station shortly after 9:05am today, Wednesday 3rd November and extends sincere condolences to his family and friends.
Official identification is anticipated in due course, pending next of kin notification.
The young man’s death marks Bermuda’s 15th road fatality for 2021.
The car driver involved, said to be a 25-year-old Pembroke man, was not hurt.
A BPS Traffic Collision Investigator and Forensic Support Unit specialist completed their inquiries at the scene by 11:20am.
However, the investigation continues regarding this latest fatal collision and any witnesses or members of the public with relevant information are now urged to call the Roads Policing Unit on 247-1788, or 211, as soon as possible.
