Second Road Fatality for 2021: 35-Year-Old O’Dean Phillips

The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 35-year-old O’Dean Phillips.

Mr. Phillips passed away following a serious single road traffic collision involving a motorcycle, just east of the Terceira’s Service Station on the North Shore Road, Devonshire, shortly after 1:00 a.m. on Monday 11th January, 2021.

The Bermuda Police Service extends sincere condolences to the family of Mr. Phillips.

Investigators wish to make a further appeal for any witnesses who may have observed Mr. Phillips prior to the collision.

Preliminary investigations have revealed that Mr. Phillips was traveling in an easterly direction when for reasons unknown at present, he collided with a utility pole.

The Bermuda Police Service appeals for witnesses to or prior to this collision to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 247-1788 or alternatively 211.


All incidents are under investigation. Police are appealing to members of the public who have witnessed these incidents or may have information pertaining to them to contact their respective Police Station, Police Headquarters at 295-0011 or the confidential Crimestoppers Hotline on 1 (800) 623-8477.
