31 yr-old Woman Shot Dead

Around 12:20 this morning, Tuesday 29th September, police received a number of 911 calls reporting several shots fired at a residence on Sunset Pass, Pembroke.  

Officers attended the scene and found that a 31-year-old-female had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was lying outside the residence.

The officers performed CPR on the victim until EMTs arrived and transported her via ambulance to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, where she subsequently succumbed to her injuries.

Detective Superintendent Nicholas Pedro who heads up the Crime Division, said: This matter is now being treated as a murder investigation and it is being investigated by the Serious Crime Unit. Investigators are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who may have seen two persons dressed in dark clothing and who may have left the area on motorcycles shortly after the incident.

This incident marks the second shooting death and the third murder for the year 2020.


All incidents are under investigation.
