The Bermuda Police Service (BPS) is aware of the video circulating that shows a well known male member of our community on a pedal cycle assaulting a woman in a car.

We would encourage that woman to make a formal complaint to the BPS thus allowing us to take action.

Update: Sunday, April 28th - The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm that the woman in the car who was apparently assaulted by a well-known male member of our community on a pedal cycle – captured in a video which went viral on social media last week – has made an official report regarding the incident.

The 55 year old man involved was later arrested and the necessary next steps are being taken.
