Sudden Death of 64 Year Old Man [Updated]

At 1:10pm today (Monday) police and other first responders attended the scene of a road traffic collision involving a mini bus and a car located at Somerset Road and Mangrove Bay Road, Sandys parish.

It was reported that the driver of the van, a 64 year old man, as a result of a medical incident was rendered unconscious and his van rolled into a car.

EMS personnel arrived on the scene and transported him immediately to King Edward VII Memorial Hopsital via ambulance, however he was pronounced dead at 2pm by a hospital doctor.

No further information will be given until the next of kin has been notified.

Update: Tuesday, December 25th - Police can confirm the death of 64 year old Randolph Bulford who died as a result of a medical incident that took place whilst he was driving his minibus around 1:09pm on Monday December 24th on Somerset Road.

Mr. Bulford was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital and was pronounced dead at 2:29pm.

The Bermuda Police Service would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Randolph Bulford.
