Police and first responders attended a report of a road traffic collision that took place on Middle Road in Devonshire and Vesey Street at 11:48pm on Saturday night.

Details are still emerging but it appears that a man on a pedal cycle was exiting Vesey Street when he rode into the path of a man on a motorcycle traveling west on Middle Road.

Both men were taken to the hospital but it appears that the male on the pedal cycle is said to be listed in serious condition.

The area surrounding the collision has been cordoned off whilst the scene is being processed.

Update: The rider of the pedal cycle, a 66 year old man, is in critical condition in the ICU and the 46 year old male rider of the motorcycle sustained non-life threatening leg injuries.
